Wesley Noble Jr and Chris Walker have a terrific Indoor season

YOUTH – Wesley Noble, Jr.

Wesley Noble, Jr. 14, of Jamaica, NY has been selected as the USATF New York Youth Athlete of the Month for February 2019.  Noble competes for the Metro Eagles Track & Field Club.

 USATF Indoor Championships (February 22)4x400m    2nd place    3:51.08   (split 53.15) Following his February athlete of the month performances Noble then won the 200m and 400mat the USATF New York Indoor Championships on March 3.  

Christian Walker also has a terrific indoor season

AAU Indoor National championship Chris broke the 60m- 7.94 and 400m -58.13record. and won 3 National Titles with taking 1st in the 200m -25.79 also.

Then he won the 400m at The USATTF Hershey’s indoor championship which he was trying to break the existing record which was held by his teammate Wes, with a 56.54. Chris got 56.8. He also won the 200 with a 25.3. and took 2nd in the 55m .

Honorable Mention- Jelani Johnson 1500-2nd pl 4:41 , 3rd in the 800m 2:10.89

and to the 13/14 Boys on a Great ending of a spectacular season. Brandon Simpson “the silencer”, no one knows when he woke up….but the sleeping giant is awake. And Aaron Brown, we will have to tickle his feet. Congratulations guys!
